As the single largest technical institute, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is committed to the expansion and progression of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Virginia Tech Chapter of IEEE instills the values of the national chapter, seeking to get aspiring engineers involved in the engineering community and to gain valuable networking skills to carry into the workplace. Currently IEEE is seeking donations to help with the continuation of these practices at Virginia Tech. This provides companies with an opportunity to support potential employees, even before they join their future companies. If you are interested in making a donation to the Virginia Tech Chapter of IEEE, please forward all donations to: Virginia Tech IEEE 302 Whittemore Blacksburg, VA 24061 You can also bring donations by our office during our office hours. NEW! You can now make your donation online: Online Donation.
As a sign of appreciation, IEEE would like to present all companies making a donation of $100 or more with a complementary Resume CD. This contains over 350 resumes from students studying Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering. All resumes are in full-text searchable PDF files and are organized by graduation date and major. The CD also includes other ways for companies to become more intricately involved in the development of engineers through IEEE. These opportunities range from sending representatives to weekly Technical Talks, sponsorship of IEEE socials and picnics, or attending S-PAC in January. The Virginia Tech Chapter of IEEE appreciates your donations and the time that you have taken to support our organization. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact Richard Wilson.
