GET DIRTY: THE SERIES IEEE WIE Sponsors a drillfield event each semester. Last semester we challenged students to a game of "water" pong. Man vs. Robot. We provided refreshments and free tshirts to the first people to visit. We had a great turnout! Since it went so well, we're gearing up to do it again. This semester we're bringing a car out to the drillfield and taking a look under the hood. The purpose of these events is to expose women, and students in general, to the different aspects of engineering in a hands-on and entertaining way. Please feel free to come out and join, even if you aren't part of the committee. Check back soon for details on the date and time. WIE looks forward to getting dirty with you. Students walking the drillfield were challenged to beat a robot playing 'Gatoraid' pong. The details of the robot were explained, and Free T-Shirts were given out.
