This semester, Virginia Tech IEEE will have intramural sports teams for soccer (men's and corec), flag football (men's) and volleyball (men's and corec). You can play for free if you are an IEEE member and a current student at Virginia Tech. If you are not an IEEE member, join now!

Friday, September 5th is Fun Friday. There will be free donuts in the ECE Student Lounge and the CS Student Lounge.

On Saturday, September 6th, the IEEE will be hosting a Tailgate from 9:00am until 12:45pm. Join us!

The IEEE will be holding elections at 5:30pm on Wednesday, September 3rd in Randolph 216. Any IEEE member can run for an office and vote. To become a member go to: www.ieee.org/join (Click on "Join IEEE as a Student Member" its $30)

 Officer positions and responsibilities

 There are still a number of positions available, including SEC Co-Representative, Fundraising Chair and Social Co-Chair. S-PAC committee members are also needed. If you are interested in becoming an officer, please contact Bill Geneczko at wrgenec@vt.edu with the position(s) that you would like to run for and a brief description on why you would be a good candidate.
